Vicks Vapor Rub
I have found that Vicks Vapor Rub actually helps my pimples go away. It may seem like such a weird product to use, but it was actually introduced to me by my mother. I would put it on at night, and see reduction in my breakouts by the morning. Vicks reduces the swelling, face wrinkles, and scars on your face. If you use it long enough, it will actually start to peel the scars away. The eucalypstus in the vapor rub eliminates the bacteria in the skin. Also having camphor and menthol in Vicks also helps reduce inflammation from its cooling effect. This is a great, cheap remedy to try if over the counter is not working for you. I have been using it for a while now, and I have to say it works and has helped tamed my breakouts to a minimum. It will not hurt to try!

Have you seen all the things Vicks can do?? It is unbelievable! I have tried it for a number of things and would recommend it to anyone. Next time you have a cold, put it on the bottom of your feet and put some socks on. Feels weird, but it works. And you are right, this is one of those things where it doesn't hurt to try.
ReplyDeleteThis is actually very informative, I wouldn't have thought that Vicks vapor rub would help reduce pimples. I personally use toothpaste or cocoa butter for my scars and pimples.
ReplyDeleteI've also used Vicks on the bottoms of my feet and chest when I have a cold, and it helps reduce coughing. I've never tried it on my face, but I'm glad you're getting results! Everyone has to find what works for them - and what they'll use. I remember in My Big Fat Greek Wedding the father of the bride swore Windex cured almost everything.

Haha yes Vicks may be the Windex of the real world. My brother had a slight fungal infection in his toes and the doctor had told him that Vicks will clear that away as well.

ReplyDeleteDo you know you can upgrade the shade of henna connected staring you in the face by rubbing Vicks VapoRub on it? I have attempted this on myself and yes it worked. Vicks VapoRub is not just to cure blocked nose and sore throat.
I tried this on my hair because my hair takes forever to grow. I applied to my scalp a few times in one week after trying vitamins and other treatments and sure enough I went from growing 1/2 a inch a month to 1 3/4 inch. I used dawn dish soap to wash out and my haur was a lot smoother.
